We had a lovely visit from firemen Nick and Brian. They taught 1st-4th class about their jobs, what to do in case of emergency and how to quench a fire. They children were really engrossed in this talk and learned about the dangers of fires. One of the most important points that Nick and Brian mentioned was that all children should know their eircode in the event of a fire so they can relay that information to emergency services.
